The 2005 Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship will be filmed following confirmation of an arrangement between Hummingbird Productions and the Historic Rally Car Register.With Michelle Farrelly presenting the coverage, Hummingbird Productions in association with Rallychannel.co.uk will film extensive action from the events and will then produce DVDs after each three rallies. The first DVD will cover the Robin Hood Stages, the Astra Stages and the International Welsh Rally. It is then intended that copies of the DVD will be available for sale at the following event, the Mutiny Historic Rally on 4 June. Two further DVDs will be produced to cover the remaining six events, with the second DVD available following the Manx Historic Rally and the third DVD available following the final round, the Somerset Historic Rally. A complete compilation DVD will be produced at the end of the season.The producers have a limited number of in car camera kits available for hire at a competitive rate and some advertising space, both within the DVD as editorial features and on the cover/disc is still available."This is another positive move for the BHRC," said a championship spokesman. "Having Hummingbird covering the whole season will bring first-class coverage to the championship and ensures that all the battles, including those for the classes, will be properly covered."Discussions are also underway regarding possible TV coverage for the BHRC and more details will be announced in due course.
