Chris Milne is stepping up to the Michelin Porsche Club Championship this season having won the Lodge Sports Porsche 924 title last year. The Kent-based engineer has acquired the 911SC most recently raced by Mark Rogers for his debut season in the Club Championship and will have the car prepared by Harvey Racing."I've raced a 924 for several years and managed to win the 2004 title. Therefore, I felt that the time was right to move up," says Milne. "It will also be a great experience to race at Spa, Thruxton and Rockingham, as I have never raced at any of these tracks before."Milne is due to test the car for the first time this week at Snetterton, having had a previous test session cancelled due to snow. "This will be the first time that I've ever driven a 911 and so it will be quite a momentous occasion! I will aim to do at least one more test day, and preferably more, before the first race."The 911SC has been prepared by Harvey Racing for a number of seasons and it has been raced by Nick Adams, Paul Stephens, Ian White and Rogers in recent times.
