Spanish Formula 3

Racing Engineering, Spanish Formula 3 team champions for the last four seasons, has  announced it's 2005 lineup of F3 drivers: Ricardo Risatti (Argentina), Javier Villa (Spain) and Filipe Albuquerque (Portugal), will participate in the new Spanish Formula 3 championship and Marcos Martinez Ucha (Spain),  will participate in the Spanish Formula 3 Cup, using last year's chassis.

Ricardo "Caito" Risatti was born on the 27th of September 1986 in Laboulaye, Argentina. He is the son of a well known race driver, so auto racing is "in his blood". He has been winning since 1999 in Argentine karting, then moved on to Formula 3 in 2001 in Argentina, then Brazil and finally to Spanish Formula 3 in 2002. Javier Villa was born on October 5th 1987 in Colunga, Spain. His racing career took off in 1996 with the Asturias Cadete championship leading him to the Spanish Formula 3 in 2004, in which he became the 2004 Junior champion. Filipe Albuquerque was born on June 13 1985 in Coimbra, Portugal. His racing career began in 1995 in karting and was in karting until last year. In fact he was also a factory driver for a kart manufacturer. He is very manual, with a solid mechanical knowledge and he is very open to absorb information and learn.

Marcos Martinez Ucha was born on October 15 1985. His racing career began in 1998 in karting leading to Formula Junior 1600 in 2004. Marcos is characterized as being very calm and controlled.

Racing Engineering is delighted to participate with such a high level driver line-up and Alfonso de Orleans, Racing Engineering's president, said, "I am content with these drivers and our pre-season preparation already showed that we should be able to see some interesting races. Javier and Caito already have experience in this championship and together with rookie Filipe, they can't wait to get behind the steering wheel of the new car, which we will be received by mid March. Marcos will participate in the newly created Spanish Formula 3 Cup and we will support him with all our experience gained through the years.
