Damien Faulkner and Jason Templeman will contest the Carrera Cup GB this season with Team Parker Racing in the colours of SAS International. The pair of title contenders will join Michael Corridan in a three-car squad run by the team that took Barry Horne to the 2003 Carrera Cup title.The cars of Faulkner and Templeman will run under the Team SAS banner and both are expected to rival Richard Westbrook and Tim Harvey in the championship battle. Both were race winners in 2004, with Templeman claiming third place in the final standings in both 2003 and 2004. Team boss Stuart Parker is delighted to have secured the deal to run the SAS cars. "I'm very excited by the prospect. I think we're going to be in for a hard season and it will be tough at the top with Richard and Tim in the championship. They are a fantastic benchmark to compete against."With SAS as the sponsor, and Damien and Jason as the drivers, there are no excuses," continues Parker. "We've got to give it everything!" The team is now busy preparing the cars ahead of the opening races of the season at Donington Park on 9/10 April.
