Spedeworth South's brave (and possibly completely mad) Rookie Banger pilots will be racing on the tarmac and then taking to the air in a spectacular ramp roll over competition to raise money for Capital Radio's Help a London Child appeal at Wimbledon Stadium on Easter Bank Holiday Sunday, March 27th at 5pm.
The Rookie Bangers will get up to full speed with the best part of a full lap of the Plough Lane circuit and then hit the ramp on the home straight to produce a spectacular roll over that would make a Hollywood stunt driver green with envy. The rollover action will raise the hairs on the back of spectators necks; while raising money for a deserving cause as the cars take to the air and come back to earth in a shower of sparks and twisted metal.
Once the spectators have got their breath back from the roll over competition there will be more fender bending from the all-action V8 Stock Cars. These armoured track warriors always deliver a night of non-stop, full contact racing at Plough Lane.
The Stock Rods bring will provide some non-contact racing action as the evenly matched cars power around the track with just inches between each others bumpers and the very unforgiving Wimbledon safety fence.
With three formulas in action, plus the jaw-dropping ramp roll over competition, Spedeworth will ensure that the Easter Bank Holiday weekend goes with a real bang at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain's finest stock car racing circuit.
