On the 1st of April Racing Engineering presented its 2005 GP2 Team at the Costa Ballena Golf Club, Rota (Cádiz-Spain). The picturesque scenery of Costa Ballena offered the perfect surrounding in which to present the high goalswhich the team and its sponsors Repsol, Telefonica and Red Bull have for this season and beyond.
In 2005 Racing Engineering will participate in the newly created GP2 Series with Borja García (ESP) and Neel Jani (SUI) with the support of three of the most prestigious companies present in motor racing. Repsol, Telefonica and Red Bull have a long and impressive historyin motorsports and Racing Engineering, the young teamfrom Andalusia, is delighted to have them as partners in the GP2 Series.
Neel Jani announced, “I am really looking forward to thisseason and I think there is a lot of potential in thiscombination of team, drivers and sponsors. We are workingvery hard in getting everything ready for the first race and sofar everything works as planned”.
