The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team yesterday completed day two of testing in Barcelona.
As this test session represents the final opportunity for the teams to run at this circuit ahead of next month's Spanish Grand Prix, the team concentrated on race preparations with set-up and tyre development programmes.
Fernando Alonso experienced a trouble-free day, while Giancarlo Fisichella completed more mileage than on Tuesday, in spite of several mechanical problems.
Chief Test Engineer Christian Silk commented:
«We continued to accumulate mileage today, and particularly on Fernando's car. Both drivers' programmes were focused on preparing for the Grand Prix and we made good progress in this direction.»
