Daytona Milton Keynes previously utilised the Honda GX series, which waslaunched in 1984 in the guise of the GX 140 and was later modified intothe GX 160. Although very successful over the years, the Honda usesdated overhead valve technology - meaning that the engine relies onpushrods to open the valves. Advances in technology means that engineswork more efficiently using an overhead cam. The Subaru EX210 usesoverhead cam technology which, as well as giving more torque, makes theengine quieter, more efficient and with lower emissions.
