Skip Barber Names Auto Industry Executive President and Chief Operating Officer
Skip Barber Racing School, LLC, today announced the appointment of George Ayres as President and Chief Operating Officer. Ayres comes to SkipBarber from Ford Motor Company where he most recently led Sales and Marketing for the FordSpecial Vehicle Team (SVT). Ayres has also held senior positions at Jaguar Cars both in the U.S.and the U.K. and worked extensively in Ford's Customer Service Division. He will begin hisassignment on May 2 at Skip Barber’s Lakeville, Conn., headquarters.
After an extensive search, Ayres was selected as the best candidate to help lead the Skip Barberteam in further growing its business. He brings strategic and operational skills to the companythat will allow Skip Barber to expand its capabilities and range of services, and connect newcustomers with the Skip Barber brand.

Hollander will continue as Chief Executive Officer focusing on strategic growth initiatives,including acquisitions.
