Aaron Scott leads the pack at Brands
Beechdean Motorsport's Super Mini was in action for round 2 of the Britcar Endurance Championship at Brands Hatch on Sunday with Aaron Scott driving solo for the 2 hour enduro. The weekend got off to a fantastic start with Scott qualifying the Beechdean supermini on pole position for Class 3. Scott got a superb start and by half distance had built a healthy lead as well as setting the fastest lap of the race. Unfortunately, the BMW engine lost a cylinder early on in the race and by the halfway stage lost oil pressure forcing the teams retirement.Team boss Andrew Howard paid tribute to his team, "The whole team have done a fantastic job with the car. Aaron drove a great race today unfortunately the engine failure cost us a certain victory. However, we are making fantastic progress developing the car and we are all looking forward to the next race at Snetterton. "Recent testing has highlighted the cars potential and Beechdean Motorsport are looking forward to round 3 of the Britcar Championship which will be a 5 hour endurance at Snetterton on May 22.
