The Super Nova International team worked around the clock to get the cars ready for today's 17 lap Sprint Race. Adam Carroll started in 4th place and showed us what an excellent driver he is, he moved down the field showing us his superb overtaking skills to gain the race lead where he then pulled away and finished the race 5 seconds ahead of 2nd place Frenchmen Premet. Giorgio Pantano who started on the grid in 13th place started to slowly move down the field when he retired a few laps before the end because of tyre failure.

"Today was mega! It went exactly to plan. The new car felt good and was quick in the race, it was just a case of getting passed the other drivers. I knew that would be the difficult bit. I had some good battles with the other drivers. The team were fantastic all weekend and I had a good bunch of guys on my car and it ran well."

"After being robbed of the victory in yesterday's race Super Nova International Racing made it to the flag this time with Adam Carroll winning the second race of the season in convincing style. From 4th on the grid he cleanly over took the three drivers in front of him and swept a great victory, delighting the team with his efforts. Adam is now sitting in 2nd in the championship. Giorgio Pantano had an eventful race having problems with his tyres, eventually he retired whilst in 10th place so that meant no points! However 10 years ago we had Vincenzo Sospiri he gained no points in his first race and still won the Championship. The team now know that both drivers are capable of winning races and we all look forward to the forthcoming season".
