After finishing in second place in last years Rookie Cup, Redditch's Mike Luck is all fired up for this seasons campaign. "Last year was a learning year and I have got to be looking for regular top ten finishes now. I need consistency and with the limited track time before the races, the drivers who have been in it from the start have a distinct advantage," says Mike. "We are definately underdogs but are equally determined to upset the form book. If we don't have consistency we don't finish races and we don't get the prize money," he added.Although the team showed off the newly liveried car at last weeks SCSA media day at Rockingham, the first test on track will be on Saturday, prior to Sunday's races. For this year the team have the backing of Beta Tools, SFS Performance (Luton) and Techsil (Redditch), and Mike will be welcoming a number of Beta guests fto Rockingham from their Italian headquarters. "We are also a local team within Redditch and would welcome any of our neighbours to come to the track and support us. If they come to our pit garage we have Beta goodies to give away and would be pleased to see anyone there," said Mike. So Rockingham near Corby is the place, this Sunday May 1st, so don't miss it!!
