Following his third place result on the opening round of the Kwik-Fit/Pirelli British Rally Championship, the Rally of Wales, Jon Ingram will contest round two of the series with a change of co-driver, when he contests the Pirelli International Rally on 20th/21st May 2005.Regular co-driver, Shaun O'Gorman has opted to miss the next round as he and his wife are expecting a new addition to the family around the rally date. Jon has acquired the experience of previous Pirelli International Rally winner, Chris Wood. Chris won the event last year with 2004 British Champion, David Higgins, in a Hyundai Accent World Rally Car.It was actually Higgins recommendation that prompted Ingram to approach Wood."David suggested I ask Chris and I am very pleased I managed to entice last years Pirelli winning co-driver into the hot seat for the BRC qualifier. I have never competed in Kielder and I hope Chris's experience of the stages will be a big plus for the team."
