June 25-26 will be significant for the EERC, a new Member of the MotorSports Association, and its plans for the future. This is a combinedBritcar-Belcar meeting on the Brands Hatch GP circuit, a circuit spokesmansaid ‘We will be promoting this meeting, and two others on MSV circuitslater in the year, very heavily. ‘This is going to be the biggest GT andTouring Car meeting of the year in Britain with 40 + cars on all 5 grids,with Belcar-/Britcar-/ ProductionS1-/Britsports and Gold Arts showing offtheir metal’– and the timing of the first of these three events means thatwe’re referring to it as a ‘Post-Le Mans Endurance Weekend’ a week afterLeMans with some Britcar drivers coming back after their trip to France.Come and walk in amongst the cars and meet the EERC’S Touring Car and LeMansdrivers…plus listen to Paul Jones and the Blues Band on Saturday after theracing at 6.30………..

Meanwhile James Tucker’s ‘director of sport for the EERC’, plans on theFirst Ever 24hr race at Silverstone to be know as the ‘Silverstone BritcarGP 24hr Race ’ unless a Sponsor is found, on September 9-10-11 weekendwill see a whole host of attractions, other than the racing.
