BUCKINGHAM PALACE TO SILVERSTONE
The FIA GT Championship Lister Storm was displayed in front of Buckingham Palace this week to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Tourist Trophy – which was won by Julian Bailey and Jamie Campbell Walter in the GT1 Storm in 1999.
Justin and Liz were also at the photocall which was followed by a press conference at the RAC Club where Liz represented the Lister team – they are both looking forward to the race this weekend on Silverstone’s International circuit – a track that Justin knows but which Liz has only driven on once before.
The competition will be tough with the two works Aston Martins taking the opportunity to showcase their new GT car at their home track – however, they will not receive points. The race should be full of action on this shorter International circuit at Silverstone – we will see what we can do!
