Having completed the last two rallies with no feeling in his left hand. The outcome of the scan showing two compressed discs in Ingram's neck.Despite the injury, the Ford Focus World Rally Car driver is geared up for the second round of the series."It's a major blow to our plans and very uncomfortable but I just cannot miss the Pirelli, which looks like it could be the best event of the year with a fantastic entry, fantastic stages and a lot of night stages. Plus I have been able to attract a top co-driver into my car for the event."Commenting on his strategy for the rally, Ingram said,"The plan is to start and see how comfortable it feels, the biggest worry for me are the two enormous jumps in the P-Zero spectator stage, I have actually asked my co-driver if I can drive around them."The rally will start and finish in Carlisle with special timed tests on Friday evening, including the P-Zero at Newby Grange. Stages also take in the demanding and treacherous Kielder Forest, before the overnight halt back in Carlisle at midnight. The rally restarts at 7.00am on Saturday with another host of stages in Kielder before the 16.30pm finish in Carlisle.
