Spedeworth South presents another great, value for money days racing to Bovingdon Raceway when the Rookie Bangers, Stock Cars, 2.0 Hot Rods and Ministox take to the track on Sunday May 22nd at 1.30pm.

The Rookie Bangers are always entertaining at Bovingdon, so expect plenty of cars on the track and hotly contested races from the second the green flag drops until the final chequered flag waves.

More metal bashing is on the cards when the armoured Stock Cars take to the Hertfordshire circuit to contest Round 2 of their ‘Goldrush Series.’ Built for speed and equipped with very purposeful front bumpers the Stock Cars always provide plenty of action as the drivers put their right foot down and the front bumper very firmly into the opposition.

While the Stock Cars and Rookie Bangers go all out to put the bumper in the 2.0 Hot Rods will be doing just the opposite as their pilots power the highly-tuned non-contact machines around the Hertfordshire circuit. With just inches to spare between the cars and the very solid safety fence, one error can result in a very expensive day’s racing for the drivers of these extremely rapid machines. This does not deter the drivers from placing their right foot firmly down and delivering some of the most exciting racing to be seen on the oval circuits.

To round off the day’s action-packed racing programme, the Ministox will also be taking to the circuit providing some great racing from their young 11-16 year old drivers.

With four great formulas in action, free parking, and a great view of all the action from high-banked spectator areas, Bovingdon (situated off B4005 Bovingdon, Nr Hemel Hempstead, Herts, on the airfield complex) looks set to provide another action packed day of racing.
