Official Clothing and Collectibles Featured in Dempsey Racing’s First Total Product Line; Retail Booth Located in Daytona Infield Official Vending Area
Offering its loyal following of race fans and team supporters a full line of clothing and collectibles for the first time, Dempsey Racing has launched its first in-house retail merchandise program that debuts at this weekend’s Rolex 24 At Daytona.
A new line of recently produced clothing for men, women and children is already on location at Daytona International Speedway and will sales began Thursday for all four days of the season-opening race, January 23 – 26. Look for the Dempsey Racing booth in the official vendor area at Daytona, which is located in the infield between the driver/owner motor coach lot and Lake Lloyd.
The initial product offering at Daytona will feature two men’s t-shirt designs as well as two women’s t-shirt designs, women’s hoodies and two hat designs. Dempsey Racing will also have a limited selection of youth and baby items and a selection of test products to gauge fan interest. The team will be seeking input from our fans for suggestions and ideas as the program continues to grow throughout the entire 2014 race season.
The Dempsey Racing merchandise program is being managed by longtime team member Rob Baker who has enlisted the help of Nick Baime, Donna Lee, Steve Welk of Styled Aesthetics and Roy Gonzalez of Sapphire Screenprinting & Embroidery.
The available officially licensed team merchandise reflects the new-for-2014 look and livery of the No. 27 Dempsey Racing Porsche 911 GT America that will be driven in the Rolex 24 by team owner and actor Patrick Dempsey and full-season teammate Andrew Davis. Joining the duo for the day-long Rolex 24 will be Dempsey’s longtime motorsports business partner and co-driver Joe Foster and top LMP1 factory Porsche driver Marc Lieb.
Along with the sister No. 27 entry, Dempsey Racing is also fielding a second Porsche in a partnership with European racing team Konrad Motorsport. The No. 28 Dempsey Racing/Konrad Motorsport Porsche 911 GT America will be co-driven by Porsche Junior Driver Klaus Bachler, Christian Engelhart, Rolf Ineichen, Lance Willsey and team owner Franz Konrad.
