Step back in time at Classic Nostalgia, Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb’s flagship event, returning to Worcestershire on 18–19 July 2026.

Held at one of the world’s oldest motorsport venues, this much-loved event delivers a thrilling weekend of competitive hillclimb action, star drivers and historic demonstrations, alongside live bands, trade stands and a vibrant showcase of car clubs.

From F1 legends and roaring NASCAR V8s to Bonneville record-breakers, Classic Nostalgia serves up an eclectic mix of speed, sound and heritage, brought to life by open paddock access that puts you right at the heart of all the action. 

NEW FOR 2026 – HISTORIC RACING NEWS LIVE STAGE
The all-new Historic Racing News Live Stage brings motorsport stories to life with interviews, guest appearances and autograph sessions across the weekend—all included with admission.

From Le Mans glory to Formula 1, saloon car racing, rallying and the Isle of Man TT, a stellar line-up of motorsport greats will share their stories and insights, including: 
•    Richard Attwood – Le Mans winner who secured Porsche’s first-ever overall victory in 1970
•    Les Thacker – the driving force behind BP’s motorsport programme and a key figure in launching major F1 careers
•    Mike Wilds – former Formula 1 driver and fan favourite with a career spanning over five decades
•    John Fitzpatrick – touring car champion and endurance racing legend with wins at Daytona, Sebring and Bathurst
•    Stuart Graham – Isle of Man TT winner and saloon car racer, successful on both two and four wheels
…with more names set to be revealed. 

RALLY GREATS RETURN 
Ralli22 returns with Group B, Group A and WRC icons, plus a tribute to Richard Burns’ 2001 championship victory. Highlights include the Safari-winning Subaru Impreza, demonstrated by engineer David Lapworth, with passenger rides in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance, alongside a special reunion of former team members. 

STAR CARS INCLUDE 
•    Surtees TS19 – the infamous 1976 F1 car once deemed too controversial for BBC broadcast 
•    Haas Lola THL1B (1985) – Patrick Tambay’s turbo-era F1 machine makes its event debut
•    Hepworth FF – the V8-powered hillclimb icon returns over 50 years after breaking records at Shelsley
•    Benetton B192 – raced by Michael Schumacher, one of the most significant cars of modern Formula One
•    Netuar-Peugeot – a rare example of Peugeot’s first rear-engined F1 challenger 
•    ICON 917K – a road-legal, track-ready tribute to the legendary Porsche 917K
•    World’s Fastest Jensen – a radically re-engineered Jensen CV-8 built fresh from Bonneville Salt Flats! 

NASCARS & V8 ACTION– BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
A dozen NASCARs returns with ex-Kevin Harvick machinery and full-throttle spectacle, joined by UK V8 stock cars, the Andy Rouse-liveried Dolomite Sprint, Escort Mk1 BDG and the record-setting DAF saloon. 

CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR CONCOURS
The popular Concours returns for pre-1985 vehicles, judged by Simon Taylor, John Mayhead (Hagerty) and Classic & Sports Car magazine.

Classes Include: Pre-WW2; 1949–1959; 1960–1985 Saloons; 1960–1985 Sports/GT, plus Best in Show and Judges’ Choice. 

EXHIBITION OF SPEED RETURNS
The Courtyard Barn becomes the Art of Motorsport Gallery, featuring top UK automotive artists. Enjoy 2D and 3D works, sculptures, photography, and more. Meet artists, see new pieces, buy originals, and get them signed 

VISITING CAR CLUB DISCOUNT
Over 20 car clubs will be in attendance with major anniversaries including Porsche Club GB (65 years), Jaguar Drivers’ Club (70 years) and Midland Automobile Club (125 years).

COMPETING AT CLASSIC NOSTAGLIA
Competition entries for Classic Nostalgia are now open to all pre-1976 vehicles, with a wide range of classes from Edwardian and Vintage through to Standard, Modified, Sports, Sports Racing and Racing Cars up to 1975, plus specialist categories including Allards, Buckler Register and Shelsley Specials.
