Sarrazin to tackle Rallye Mont Blanc in maiden four-wheel drive event

KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin will take on his first event in a four-wheel drive car when he takes on Mont-Blanc Rallye on 6-7 September in a Volkswagen Polo R2.

Following a strong maiden full season in rallying, which sees the young Frenchman sit second in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France ahead of the Rallye de Lozère, Sarrazin is set to take another step up the rallying ladder.

Taking place in and around Morzine, on the French border with Switzerland, the famous Mont-Blanc Rallye is both a drivers’ and fans’ favourite. The event features 14 Special Stages totalling 198.98 kilometres, winding through picturesque Alpine scenery.

PABLO SARRAZIN
“I’m really excited to compete in my first event in a Rally2 car! It will be a great experience for me to learn and enjoy taking part in the incredible Rallye Mont Blanc. There will be a lot of competition and it’s an honour to go up against the legend Sébastien Loeb! We’re going to do our best to acclimatise to the car and to each stage and slowly build our confidence. A big thanks to KCMG for this amazing opportunity and we’ll give it our all!”

GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER
“We’re very lucky to be jumping into a Rally2 car in our first full year of competition together, and we’re going to work our way through it step by step. We’ll look to improve as the rally goes on and we become more familiar with the car. A huge thanks to KCMG and I can’t wait to get going.”

PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER
“Pablo has a very busy schedule in the remainder of 2024, and entering Rallye Mont Blanc is a fantastic test for him, Geoffrey and the team. Pablo’s had a strong season, showing great pace in each event, so we decided it was the right time to try out a four-wheel drive car. It’s a fantastic rally, with lots of cars and talented drivers. We’re excited for this new challenge!”
