Collecting Cars has added Sealed Bids to its online auction platform. The new Sealed Bids format is designed for privacy, efficiency, and premium marketing of blue-chip collector cars
Inaugural August edition of Sealed Bids includes seven collector-grade vehicles including a VAT-qualifying, delivery-mileage 2013 RUF CTR3 Clubsport
The RUF joins the previously confirmed Tuthill SCRS, a Nissan GT-R50, a Lexus LFA and a selection of Ferraris including a Ferrari 812 Competizione and two Ferrari Dinos
Just a handful of cars will be listed each month, each curated for the Sealed Bids approach, with bidding restricted to fully vetted buyers only for maximum protection
No public figures will ever be available so only bidders know their position, and only winners know the final price, protecting future values
The inaugural seven-day auctions are now live and will run until 4 September, and several of the first cars to be auctioned are on display at the prestigious Salon Privé this week.
