The Italian team embarks on a brand new multi-year partnership launching a programme that will see its return to the International GT Open in 2026 with a Huracán Evo2 GT3 bearing car number 63 and entrusted to a Lamborghini young-driver line-up, while strengthening its racing activities in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. All in anticipation of the arrival of the Temerario GT3...
From 2026, Villorba Corse becomes a “supported by Lamborghini” team. The Italian multiple title-winning team from Treviso officially enters the Lamborghini racing world, inaugurating a multi-year plan in which its entire on-track activity will be linked to - and identified exclusively with - the car manufacturer from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The first major development of the forthcoming racing season will be Villorba Corse return to GT3 competition through the management of a Lamborghini Huracán Evo2 GT3 in international competition.
The chosen series is the International GT Open, where Villorba Corse already boasts a prestigious record of victories and titles. In 2026 the team will field a line-up of two young drivers selected from Lamborghini’s GT3 Junior Driver Program, competing with the symbolic car number of the Italian manufacturer: 63. Looking ahead, another key milestone for the team will be the future introduction of the new Temerario GT3, the car that will represent Lamborghini’s next-generation GT3 platform in the coming years.
In parallel, Villorba Corse plans to further strengthen its customer racing activities, primarily through confirmation of its participation in the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, where it will enter up to five Huracán ST Evo2 cars, as well as its debut in the GT Open Cup Europe with two entries.
Villorba Corse team principal Raimondo Amadio: “We welcome with great optimism our agreement with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. After years in which our sporting activity spanned different programmes and manufacturers, we can now focus all our efforts on a single partnership with a constructor that has achieved extraordinary results over the past decade. We come from three seasons of strong collaboration in the Super Trofeo Europe, where Villorba Corse has increased its market share year after year and today unquestionably stands as one of the most structured teams in the field. Adding an international GT3 programme supported by the factory brings further prestige to a relationship we intend to build for the long term. The forthcoming arrival of the new Temerario GT3, followed by the Super Trofeo version, will open a new cycle that we are proud to be part of. For the entire team, taking on the challenges that now lie ahead will be truly exciting, and we are honoured to do so alongside Lamborghini”.
