The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli UK returns to Snetterton this weekend for Round 2 of the 2026 season. The Norfolk circuit’s 2.99-mile ‘300’ layout is one of the most technical in the UK, combining long straights and heavy braking zones with tight infield sections well suited to the characteristics of the Ferrari 296 Challenge race cars.
Following an exciting season-opener at Circuit Paul Ricard, the championship battle is taking shape across both categories as drivers look to build momentum heading into the first UK round of the year.
In Trofeo Pirelli, Bradley Yates (Charles Hurst) leads the standings after a dominant opening weekend, securing two victories to establish an early advantage with 34 points. Behind him, Manuela Gostner (Ineco) sits second on 23 points, with Joseph Dean (Stratstone Colchester) close behind on 19. 2025 Champions Mike Dewhirst (Dick Lovett Swindon) and Gilbert Yates (Charles Hurst) complete the top five, the latter looking to respond strongly after a challenging start to the campaign.
In Coppa Shell, debutant Christopher Beighton (Graypaul Nottingham) heads the standings on 27 points following a strong opening performance at Paul Ricard. The battle behind remains tightly contested, with Darren Howell (JCT600 Leeds) just four points adrift in second, while Peter Hunter (Stratstone Manchester) sits third on 22 points. Andrea Seminara (HR Owen) and Ian Morris (Maranello Sales) round out the top five.
The weekend schedule at Snetterton includes free practice on Saturday morning, qualifying from 11.15am to 11.45am, and Race 1 – a 30-minute race plus one lap – at 2.15pm. On Sunday, qualifying will take place from 11.05am to 11.35am, followed by Race 2, which starts at 3.00pm (All times are local).
