Kamui Kobayashi, Mike Conway and Nyck de Vries racing with Toyota Racing took a sixth Le Mans victory as the #7 Toyota TR010 Hybrid Hypercar took a highly accomplished win for the Japanese manufacturer.
Kobayashi, who added the success to his 2021 win at La Sarthe, took the chequered flag ahead of the #20 BMW M Team WRT entry driven by Rene Rast, Sheldon van der Linde and Rene Rast, who extended their WEC points lead
On a highly successful weekend for Toyota, the #8 car of Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa finished third.
LMGT3 went the way of the #33 TF Sport Corvette triumph with Ben Keating, Nicky Catsburg and Jonny Edgar lead home the #78 Akkodis ASP Lexus trio of Jack Hawksworth, Hadrien David and Tom van Rompuy.
Making it three different manufacturers in the top three positions was the #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage of Eduardo Barrichello, Jonny Adam and Gray Newell.
The LMP2 category saw a third win in four races and back-to-back successes by the Inter Europol Competition squad as Tom Dillmann, Nick Yelloly and Jakub Smiechowski celebrated an epic win.
Sealing the Pro/Am LMP2 trophy was the #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR team of Laurin Heinrich, Alex Quinn and George Kurtz.
