Honouring the 100th anniversary of Britain's first Grand Prix

The very special centenary celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Britain's first-ever Grand Prix will bring together the most comprehensive gathering of Formula 1 and Grand Prix cars ever assembled.
Celebrating this historic milestone in spectacular style, more than 100 iconic racing machines spanning the full history of Grand Prix competition will be showcased at the outstanding Brooklands Museum. Many of these illustrious cars will come alive once more with evocative demonstration runs on preserved sections of the world's first purpose-built banked motor racing circuit, as well as on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World test track.
In total, an unprecedented 50+ racing marques will be represented, creating a remarkable A to Z of Grand Prix history. The extraordinary line-up reads like a who's who of the sport, featuring Alfa Romeo, Alvis, Amilcar, Arrows, Aston Martin, Austin, Benetton, Bentley, Bequet, Brabham, Brawn, BRM, Bugatti, Cooper, Copersucar, Delage, Duesenberg, ERA, Ferguson, Ferrari, Fittipaldi, Force India, Frazer Nash, Haas, Halford, Hesketh, Honda, Jaguar, Jordan, LEC, Ligier, Lola, Lorraine-Dietrich, March, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes, Minardi, Napier, Netaur-Peugeot, Osella, Shadow, Simtek, Stewart, Sunbeam, Surtees, Thomas, Toleman, Tyrrell, Williams, Wolf and Zakspeed.
The sport's greatest champions will also be regally represented through cars raced in period by many of motor racing's most celebrated names: Sir Malcolm Campbell, Tim Birkin, Sir Henry Segrave, Dick Seaman, Juan Manuel Fangio, Sir Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Sir Jackie Stewart, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and, of course, Sir Lewis Hamilton.

Although tickets for the Saturday centenary celebrations have already sold out with no access on the gate for non-ticket holders, visitors to Brooklands Museum throughout the summer can still enjoy the newly opened Britain's Grand Prix Story exhibition. The exhibition showcases an exceptional collection of iconic Grand Prix and Formula 1 cars spanning the decades, including some of the early arrivals for the centenary celebrations.
Alongside these legendary racing machines, visitors can explore fascinating artefacts, immersive audio experiences and interactive displays telling the story not only of the sport's technological evolution, but also of the ingenuity, determination and personalities that have driven Grand Prix racing forward for generations.
Brooklands Museum is open daily throughout the summer from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Advance admission is priced at £25.70 for adults and £10.70 for children aged 4–17. Annual membership, from £68, offers unlimited admission throughout the year.
