Covering ten decades of competition across 12 series, from the Pre-War Sports Cars of the 1920s to the GT3 Legends of the 2010s, the 2027 Motor Racing Legends season features ten events across four countries.
At the heart of the calendar remain the organisation's established flagship events. Donington Historic Festival returns over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, while the season concludes at Silverstone with The Season Finale.
Following successful inaugural editions in 2026, the London Historic Trophy at Brands Hatch, the BRDC Classic at Silverstone and the revived Trophées d'Auvergne at Charade all return in 2027, having quickly established themselves as key fixtures on the historic racing calendar.
Motor Racing Legends continues to expand its European presence in 2027, with debut appearances at the Grand Prix de France Historique and the Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix, alongside a return to the Spa Six Hours.
New for 2027 are two additions that further broaden the scope of the programme. A special event at Goodwood opens the season in March with an innovative format combining testing and competition (more details to follow), while the inaugural Rewind Tour Britain combines circuit racing, rally stages, hill climbs and road sections in a four-day motorsport adventure inspired by the legendary Tour of Britain.

Grand Prix de France Historique
23-25 April Circuit Dijon-Prenois
Motor Racing Legends will make its debut at one of France's leading historic motorsport events. Established in 2017, the meeting has rapidly become a fixture on the international calendar, attracting major crowds, with Saturday attendance reaching capacity in 2026. This year, the event also brought together 14 former Formula 1 drivers, including the three current French F1 racers. After its first two editions at Magny-Cours, followed by six at Circuit Paul Ricard, the event opens a new chapter in its history as it moves to the legendary Dijon-Prenois circuit.
Donington Historic Festival
30 April - 2 May Donington Park
Traditionally held over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, this three-day festival is the longest-running event on the Motor Racing Legends calendar and celebrates its 16th edition in 2027. High speed demonstration runs complement the race programme as do displays of historic vehicles from every era exhibited in the infield.
Rewind Tour Britain
27-30 May From Thruxton to Bowood Estate
Inspired by the legendary Tour of Britain of the 1970s, won by motorsport greats including James Hunt, Graham Hill and Roger Clark. Over four days and approximately 540 miles, competitors will tackle a unique mix of circuit racing, rally stages, hill climbs and road sections. Starting at Thruxton, the route takes in Silverstone, Blenheim Palace, the military ranges of Caerwent and Epynt, before concluding at Bowood Estate in Wiltshire.
London Historic Trophy
18-20 June Brands Hatch Circuit
Following a memorable inaugural edition in 2026, the event has already established itself as a major fixture on the historic racing calendar. Hosted at Brands Hatch, Britain's best-loved circuit, competitors will tackle both the Indy and Grand Prix layouts, renowned for their dramatic elevation changes, fast curves and technical challenges. Set within a natural amphitheatre, the venue offers exceptional spectator views and a uniquely atmospheric setting for historic motorsport.
Trophées d'Auvergne
9-11 July Circuit de Charade
In 2026, Motor Racing Legends revived the legendary Trophées d’Auvergne, first established in 1958 and once a cornerstone of the French motorsport calendar. Often described as a "little Nürburgring", Charade remains one of Europe's most challenging and spectacular circuits. Stirling Moss himself famously called it "the most beautiful circuit in the world". Set among the volcanic landscapes of the Massif Central, it offers a unique experience for competitors and spectators alike.
BRDC Classic
23-25 July Silverstone Circuit
Following a successful inaugural edition, the event returns to Silverstone in 2027. More than 300 cars representing ten decades of motoring history are expected on track, from pre-war Bentleys to modern GT3 machinery. The 2026 event welcomed a host of renowned competitors and personalities, including Jimmy Broadbent, Zak Brown, Alex Brundle, Marino Franchitti, Sir Chris Hoy, Jan Magnussen, Guy Smith, Steve Soper and Darren Turner.
Historic Grand Prix
27-29 August Circuit Zandvoort
Another highlight of the season for Motor Racing Legends as it returns to Circuit Zandvoort for the Netherlands' leading historic racing event, founded in 2012. Sweeping through the sand dunes just metres from the beach, Circuit Zandvoort's fast, flowing corners and two banked sections provide a spectacular setting. Beyond the racing, the event benefits from the atmosphere of the Dutch Riviera, creating a true summer festival ambience.
24-26 September Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Few events capture the essence of historic motorsport quite like this renowned meeting at Spa-Francorchamps. The famous endurance race, which runs into darkness on Saturday evening, is supported by a packed programme featuring several Motor Racing Legends grids. Dedicated hospitality, paddock facilities and garage space complete a weekend that stands among the highlights of the European historic racing season.
The Season Finale
16-17 October Silverstone Circuit
The Motor Racing Legends season concludes with its traditional autumn visit to the full Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, providing a fitting finale at the home of British motorsport. Based once again in the National Paddock, the event offers competitors and spectators alike unrivalled access to the cars, teams and personalities that make historic racing such a distinctive and welcoming community.
