The LeBron James Family Foundation is offering through Gooding Christie’s a Mercedes-Maybach S 680 custom-built for the iconic NBA player. The LeBron James Family Foundation will receive the auction price from the offering.

Global collector car market leader Gooding Christie’s will offer on behalf of the LeBron James Family Foundation a custom-built 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 designed by global icon LeBron James as a charity lot for its Retromobile New York Auctions, taking place at the Javits Center in conjunction with the inaugural Retromobile New York on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21.

The pinnacle of automotive luxury, this 2027 Mercedes-Maybach combines a 6.0-liter V-12 engine producing a remarkable 621 hp with a fully immersive luxury interior. Personalized with Mercedes-Benz’s MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure program, this S 680, along with its nearly identical sister car, was individualized by legendary NBA player LeBron James to his personal taste, from its MANUFAKTUR exclusive light ivory non-metallic exterior over “Stormy Weather Blue” Nappa leather interior with porcelain contrast stitching, to the iconic “LJ” crown logo incorporated throughout the vehicle, ranging from the front fenders and headrests to the floorboards and dashboard. Additional details include a bespoke Maybach badge featuring LeBron’s crown logo.

Further personalization includes the center console inscribed with the coordinates of James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio – a special touch that pays tribute to the community the proceeds of this sale will benefit. While Mr. James keeps the sister car in his personal collection, this vehicle will be exclusively offered at Gooding Christie’s Retromobile New York Auctions through the LeBron James Family Foundation, with proceeds benefitting the Foundation’s I PROMISE Program and the Akron, Ohio community that the LeBron James Family Foundation supports.
