Bernie to deliver WATKINS LECTURE

The boss of F1 will deliver the ninth Motorsport Safety Fund 'Watkins Lecture' on Friday 13 January 2006 at the Autosport International Show, NEC, Birmingham.

Named after Formula One's safety pioneer, Professor Sid Watkins, the annual lecture on motorsport safety has proved to be a growing highlight of the Autosport International Show and is these days attended by some 500 delegates. The previous lecturers were: Sid Watkins himself, Sir Jackie Stewart, Max Mosley, Niki Lauda, David Richards, Dr Terry Trammell, Martin Brundle and Ross Brawn.

The lecture is primarily for the benefit of those directly involved in the field of marshalling and entry is strictly by ticket only. Ticket application forms will be published in this month's (November) edition of the Motorsport Safety Fund's bi-annual newsletter - "The Marshal".
