JOIN THE DRIVERS IN MACAU - CHEVROLET TO HOST LIVE CONFERENCES VIA INTERNET
Global Media And Fans Invited To Send Questions For Larini, Menu, Huff
Chevrolet is again hosting live internet press conferences at the final rounds of the 2005 World Touring Car Championship in Macau, China on November 17th, 18th and 20th. All three Chevrolet WTCC drivers, Alain Menu, Nicola Larini and Rob Huff will answer questions from the worldwide media, as well as from racing fans.
On each day of the three days, media can log into the web conference via http://webconference.chevroleteurope.com. Fans log into the conference via http://www.chevroleteurope.com/wtcc/ and click the button. Access is free and doesn’t require a password.
The internet press conferences will take place on Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Sunday 20th at 12.30pm CET (8.30pm Macau time). Questions for the drivers can be sent via the email link at the bottom of the web page, while live footage of the press conference can be seen at the top of the screen. Questions can now be sent several hours before the start of the web conference.
Fans that want to join the live web conference, but do not have a high speed access needed to receive the live footage can still join via an “audio only” link and listen in.
The minimum technical requirements to access the web conference are as follows:
PC software:. Windows 98, 2000 or XP; Internet Explorer 6, Free Real Player 10.. Internet connection: ISDN 64 Kbits, but ideally ASDL or better.
MAC software:. Apple 0S9.2 or OSX (latest version); Internet Explorer for MAC, Free Real Player 10 for MAC.. Internet connection: ISDN 64 Kbits, but ideally ASDL or better.
