ART/ESX/C&D/TC Design/JustRacing.com 25 Hour Enduro Car Completes Successful First Test

ESX Subaru STi shows its AWD strength in rain-soaked test session at Thunderhill Raceway SAN JOSE, CA, Nov 15 / The ART/ESX/C&D/TC Design/JustRacing.com STi, destined for success in the 2005 NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill Endurance Race, successfully completed its first track test on Monday.  In spite of the constant rain, the Subaru STi demonstrated its potential and represented the quality of the team behind it.

“We couldn’t be happier with the way this effort has come together,” Marshall Pruett, ART principle and co-founder, said.  “The car ran strong from the moment we rolled it out of the trailer. I’m beyond pleased with the reliability, power, and traction at our disposal.” Test-driving duties were handled by Tony Colicchio, owner of TC Design & Fabrication and the man behind the ESX Subaru’s conversion into a road racing car.  “The STi is really coming together,” Colicchio said.  “The combination of TC Design’s fabrication, the EcuTek engine management, and ART’s expertise in suspension and aerodynamics has produced a very, very fast race car.” ART’s roster of Pro drivers lined up for this effort includes Scott Bradley, Gary Sheehan and Car and Driver Magazine Editor-in-Chief Csaba Csere, with several more to come. The ART STi is expected to contend for the over-all win.
