Alex Yoong Will Drive Free Practice 3 On Saturday
Russia will not appear in Malaysia while Germany will miss Friday action as teams nominate drivers.
Sepang, Malaysia - 18 November 2005 - and A1 Team Malaysia will use Fairuz Fauzy for the first two sessions today (Friday) and Alex Yoong for tomorrow's final morning practice session. As to who will qualify for Malaysia, it is speculated that the faster of the pair maybe nominated. Alex will probably race in the longer hour long Feature race while Fairuz do the Sprint race.A1GP announced that the following drivers have been named for the Malaysia A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Sepang International Circuit.

A1 Team Indonesia re-join the World Cup of Motorsport with their driver Ananda Mikola who missed the Australian round of the A1GP series to take part in the final round of the Asian F3 Championship, which saw him take the title.
A1 Team Germany will miss today's two practice sessions as their driver Timo Scheider travels from Dubai after competing in the 5,500 kilometre endurance race. Adrian Sutil, scheduled to drive in this weekend's race is unable to take part after breaking the thumb on his right-hand during the Sprint race at the A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Eastern Creek, Sydney.
Due to prior commitments made before joining the World Cup of Motorsport, along with a number of technical reasons, A1 Team Russia will not take part in this weekend's event. The team is determined to return to the World Cup of Motorsport for the Dubai round, with a realigned strategy to further strengthen their performance.
Other A1 Teams will who will have drivers sharing practice session duties are A1 Team Australia will use Christian Jones in the first session and Will Davison in the second and third and A1 Team Czech Republic which will use new driver Janis Jaroslav for the first practice session and Tomas Enge for the second and third.
