Team Eurotech unveils BTCC programme

Team Eurotech will contest the 2006 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with Mike Jordan racing the ex-Matt Neal Honda Integra R.With backing from John Guest and Pirtek, Jordan will race the 2005 championship-winning car in the 30-race BTCC season as he returns to saloon car racing for the first time since winning the Eurocar V8 title in 1996 and 1997."Since I've been competing in GT racing, I've missed the out and out racing that you get in touring cars, so I'm really looking forward to some hard racing. It will be very, very competitive," says Jordan. "This is definitely the right move for our sponsors as well as for me as a driver. The response from our partners to the move into the BTCC has been very positive and it has put a real buzz into our motorsport programme."The Integra will be run by Team Eurotech, with strong technical links to Team Dynamics. "Team Dynamics has given us a very strong package to start with. It's a very well-engineered car and we'll be working closely with Team Dynamics over the coming months."The Integra R is currently being stripped ready for its new John Guest/Pirtek livery and Jordan hopes to have the car unveiled at Autosport International in January.Meanwhile, the customer arm of Team Eurotech will continue to operate a full programme of racing in sportscar and GT racing in Britain and Europe.
