Two Top 10 Places for Champions in Motorsport News Review
2007 Mini Se7en Champion Max Hunter and Mini Miglia Champion Andy Hack both featured in the top 10 saloon car drivers inthe Motorsport News National Racing Season Review.
Max Hunter was placed 4th behind Oly Mortimer (Mini Challenge), Steve Dance (Pickup Trucks) and Jenny Ryan(Mini Challenge).
Motorsport News Editorial Assistant Dan McCalla said of Max Hunter’s season:
“In a championship renowned for close racing, dominating like that is the work of a master.”
Andy Hack was placed three places behind Max Hunter in 7th place but ahead of Ford Saloon Car Champion Oliver Allen, T Cars Champion Daniel Brown and Pickup Trucks Vice Champion Nic Grindrod.
Commenting about the Mini Miglia Champion’s season Dan McCalla wrote; “Although (Endaf) Owens had the measure of Hack on speed, Andy proved himself to be a master tactician when slipstreaming.”

Started in July 1966, the Mini 7 Racing Club is the UK’s longest running single make race series, with the club celebrating 42 years at the top of club motorsport in the UK next season. The first race of the 10 round 2008 calendar is at Snetterton, Norfolk on Sunday27th April.
