The inaugural PistonHeads Performance Car show next month is set to boast an astonishing range of attractions which will impress the most discerning high-performance car enthusiast.
Building on the success of PistonHeads.com which now has more than 1.5million unique visitors each month, the website will be hosting the event at the Birmingham NEC on January 11, 12 and 13, alongside the Autosport International Show, Europe’s largest and most important show.
A PistonHeads ticket gives you one of the best seats in the specially built 5,500 seat Live Action Arena where there will be adrenalin-pumping shows from professional race drivers demonstrating race and performance road cars.
The 50-minute show includes racing around the purpose-built track with record-breaking stunts, celebrity guest appearances plus competitions for spectators.
The arena will feature a total of 80 cars including Lamborghini’s, GB Roasters, Porche 997’s, WRC cars from Mitsubishi, Subaru, Peugeot and Ford, plus all seven finalists from the BRDC McLaren Autosport Young Drivers Programme and for the first time on an indoor circuit in the UK – Drag Racing Cars!Dave Ryan, the PistonHeads Show manager, said: “The spectacular Live Action Arena is just one of the star attractions at the inaugural show.

Other attractions at the show include the Supercar Paddock, presented by Autocar Magazine who will be bringing a collection of cars which you wouldn’t normally see on British roads.
EVO magazine will be hosting an exhibition of some of the best track-day cars on the market, ranging from lightweight road legal cars to purpose-built machines. Performance Tuner, Japanese Performance and 911 & Porsche World magazines have joined forces to put on an incredible performance tuned cars stand which will cover all the major marques from Europe and across the world. Particular attention will be paid to the manufacturer-approved tuning and styling machines, which can be viewed close up.
