Mike and Andrew Jordan will be TV stars this year when Team Eurotech features in its own Sky Sports television series during the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season.A series of eight 30-minute programmes will be produced by leading motor sport television company Pit Lane Productions and screened on Sky Sports. The series will be a behind-the-scenes series, focussing on Mike and Andrew and the team that operates the cars in the toughest touring car series in the world. Mike (49) will be joined by his 18-year-old son Andrew this season to create the only father-and-son team in the 50-year history of the BTCC."This is a fantastic way of showing the public exactly how a touring car team operates and how a season of racing really is," said Mike. "We want to show the highs and lows, the arguments and the successes and at the same time it will offer a superb level of airtime for our sponsors. With a camera constantly shadowing us, there will be no escape."Andrew Marriott of Pit Lane Productions was thrilled to get the go-ahead for the series. "We are delighted because we know we have got great television in the making. The people involved are all personalities, the BTCC is full of drama and we will have no shortage of footage, that’s for sure! Sky Sports is excited, too, as it widens its motor sport portfolio of coverage."The series will run over eight episodes in two series of four 30-minute shows.
