Jordans start testing programme

Mike and Andrew Jordan got their 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship challenge off to a great start with a highly successful first test day at Brands Hatch on TueasdayIn a welcome dry day amid the recent heavy rain, Team Eurotech spent the day at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit running the John Guest Honda Integra that Andrew will race in his debut BTCC season."I shook the car down first thing, and then Andrew did most of the running," reported Mike. "The weather was brilliant for us. It was cold, but clear and dry, so we got some really good testing done."Interestingly, on the same tyres, Mike and Andrew recorded virtually the same lap time, posting best laps within two-hundredths of a second of each other."I'm really pleased with the way the car has gone. It's been a really good day," said Andrew, despite a high-speed spin at Surtees. Will Gollop, who will lead the engineering of Andrew's car this season, was on hand throughout the test.Team Eurotech now plans to run both Honda Integras at Donington Park at the end of January in the team's next scheduled test session.
