Andy Soucek set the pace this morning during free practice in the opening of the 2008 GP2 Asia Series in Dubai.

The DPR Spaniard Andy Soucek was the fastest this morning during free practice in a 1:21.870. After just twenty minutes of a half hour session, Luca Filippi made a mistake and crashed his Qi- Meritus car into the wall which led to a red flag that lasted until the end of the session. The Qualifying session will start at 11am, local time.
