John George is gearing-up for the 50th annual British Touring Car Championship. He expects this season to be his most successful to date; with a better car and more racing experience than ever before.

He is backed by motorsport veterans Team JAG, led by Trevor Humphrey and a hand-picked selection of mechanics. Several members of the team have been involved in such events as Formula 1; as well as the World, European and British Rally Championships.

John George will be driving the same Honda Integra Type R which brought Mat Neal his championship victory in 2006.

John George said: “I can’t remember ever being so excited about an upcoming season. The BTCC is growing in popularity every year; and I expect the 50th anniversary of the championship to be one of the most thrilling sporting events of the year. We are all really looking forward to it.”

As well as racing in the BTCC, John George is the Managing Director of JAG Communications; the country’s third-largest mobile phone retailer.
