gearing up for Lotus Celebration in March

With over 60 drivers entered it looks like our first race of the season at Brands Hatch on 23-24 March is going to be our biggest meeting yet.The Lotus Celebration will feature separate grids for class A (Production) and classes B/C (Modified/Super Modified), with 4 Elise Trophy races over the weekend.Loads of attractions and events (including a parade of historic Lotus cars and a soap box challenge) plus plenty of other racing over the weekend (including British Trucks) should keep the spectators amused, and we're expecting a good turn-out from the Lotus enthusiasts' community.

Ex Lotus F1 driver Martin Donnelly will once again be racing behind the wheel of a Lotus, after his successful outings at Donington Park & Spa Francorchamps in the Elise Trophy last year.

With over 90 drivers now signed up for 2008 and full grids already confirmed for Brands Hatch (supporting A1GP) in May, Oulton Park in June, Croft in September and Silverstone in October, it looks like the Elise Trophy is really going to build on the success of last year.
