THE unsung heroes of the British Armed Forces are being offered discounted tickets to Rockingham’s next event, the Dunlop Great & British Motorsport Festival on September 27 & 28.
The Northamptonshire circuit has devised the special offer to provide a great family day out for all service personnel who spend months away from their loved ones during active tours of duty.
Members of the British Armed Forces can save £5 on adult admission prices by booking in advance. Tickets for the main race day on Sunday (September 28) cost just £10 or weekend passes are priced at only £15.
The Dunlop Great & British Motorsport Festival draws the curtain on a fantastic season of top quality motorsport at Rockingham, with the final event promising even more action-packed racing with all the championships going down to the wire.
MINI lovers can expect a feast of racing thrills from the UK’s longest running single make formula, the MINI Se7en Championship as well as the modified 1300 MINI Miglia Championship and the MINI challenge.
There will also be close sportscar racing from the Radical UK Cup and Radical Club Cup, while the British Touring Car stars of the future battle it out wheel-to-wheel in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup.
To round off the meeting there will be 150mph paint-swapping action from the 2008 Pickup Truck Championship series, featuring Team Rockingham, on Europe’s fastest racing circuit - the Rockingham oval.

There will be plenty of opportunity to get close to the action as general admission includes access to an open paddock and a grandstand seats for everyone, while children aged 15 and under get in for free.
