(SPEEDWAY 1) CHRIS Harris lifted the British title for the second time with victory in a hugely entertaining meeting at Poole.Harris came through the semi-final and then defeated his Coventry team-mate Edward Kennett, Tai Woffinden and Lee Richardson in the Final.He said: "I made a good start and knew I had to clamp the others. It was a tough Final and I managed to save the best for last, I'm delighted."

EDWARD Kennett is on his way to the British Grand Prix as the Wild Card after finishing second in the British Final.Kennett repeated his result of 2008 to finish as the highest non-GP regular at Poole, earning him a place at the Millennium Stadium.He said: "I made some mistakes at Cardiff last year, but I'm riding a lot better this year with confidence. I'm so happy to go there again."

SWINDON will be without Australian star Troy Batchelor for up to two months after he suffered a broken scaphoid in the 50-42 win over Wolverhampton.Batchelor crashed heavily in his opening ride and Robins boss Alun Rossiter has admitted a new signing could be on the cards.He said: "It's a big blow, but the middle order has been a concern and weare looking at what we can do."

WORKINGTON youngster Adam Roynon is on target to make a dream come back -less than three months after suffering life threatening injuries.Roynon, who was due to double-up with parent club Coventry, has had more treatment on his neck injury sustained in a Great Britain warm-up session.His dad, former rider Chris, said: "Adam has always been determined to ride again and that's still very much driving him on."
