The second programme in the dedicated television coverage of the 2009 Porsche Carrera Cup GB will be broadcast in the Motorsport UK programme on ITV1 on the night of Thursday 28 May and repeated on ITV4 on the afternoon of Saturday 30 May.The Motorsport UK series, which has been extended to hour-long programmes for 2009, will cover all of the Carrera Cup GB action this year. Rounds three and four of the season at Thruxton will feature in the next programme, along with a profile on pro-am1 title contender Glynn Geddie.Motorsport UK will be broadcast as follows:Thursday 28 May at 12.35am on ITV1 Saturday 30 May at 1.55pm on ITV4Viewing figures from Motorsport UK in 2008 showed a typical total programme audience of over half a million viewers. Motorsport UK can also be watched at itv.com and is available for viewing for 28 days after the initial broadcast date.Meanwhile, another major TV bonus for the Carrera Cup GB came when rounds five and six at Donington Park on Sunday 17 May were broadcast in full on ITV4 during the extensive programme that features live coverage of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship. In over an hour of coverage, round five was broadcast at around mid-day and round six went out live from 3.15pm.
