Castroneves hopes to carry momentum to MilwaukeeHelio Castroneves feels like he has a second lease on life. He ranks second in points. Castroneves has two poles at Milwaukee but has never finished better than fifth. The Indianapolis 500 winner has finished second at Milwaukee four of five years. Can Castroneves break that string and get his first win at ‘The Mile?’
Young gunsYoungsters Marco Andretti, 22, and Graham Rahal, 20, started on the front row at Milwaukee last year, both exiting the race early. The drivers have two top-10 finishes in 2009, and Rahal has two poles. Can one of these young drivers claim a victory at Milwaukee?
Turning pointThe ABC Supply/A.J. Foyt 225 was a turning point for Team Penske driver Ryan Briscoe in 2008. He went on to record top-10 finishes in eight of the final 11 races and finished fifth in points. Briscoe already has one victory in 2009. Can he win again at Milwaukee?
Kanaan, Andretti Green look for return to Victory LaneAndretti Green Racing drivers have won three of five IndyCar Series races at Milwaukee, including two by Tony Kanaan in 2006-07, who has never finished worse than fourth. Carrying on traditionFor the third consecutive season, the IndyCar Series race at Milwaukee immediately follows the Indianapolis 500, although historically this will be the 52nd time that Milwaukee has followed Indianapolis.
