Italian GT Championship: Dindo Capello and Giorgio Sanna immediately grabbed a podium result at the debut of the Audi R8 LMS in the Italian GT Championship. After fifth place in the first race, in which the team of Audi Sport Italia had switched from slicks to wets shortly before race end, Capello and Sanna finished the second round that was a rain race through and through as the runners-up.
