GP2 Rigon in Turkey with Trident

Following his performance in monaco Rigon has been confirmed in the Trident team for Turkey.

Davide Rigon  "Now I am familiar with the team we will continue to improve. Once again I will have to contend with an unknown track, and on Thursday I will do a  walk around the track with my engineer to find points of referenc;   What's more I practice at home with the play station and watch a few on-board camera clips. We will be aiming to qualify in the top ten and then play everything in the two races, aiming to win race 2, using the reversed grid.

"The start of ourseason in Barcelona u was not the best but by Monaco I managed to keep up a good rhythm - being the best among the Italians and the second rookie.  Monaco was my first street circuit. The first laps were the most difficult because there was very little grip and only when you've reached the right feeling with the car and track can really push. After free practice the car was much improved and in qualifying, with a better understanding of the path, I could certainly do better. Starting from so far back I had a very difficult race and, with the benefit of hindsight, maybe we asked too much of our tyres delaying the pit stop. For there is little escape from  eighth position.

"In the race on Saturday the tyres struggled to come up to temperature  but when on the pace, I managed to set several fastest lapsp.

"We have certainly made a step forward compared to pre-season testing  and are confident  heading into the  Grand Prix of Turkey.
