(SPEEDWAY 1) BELLE Vue are talking to at least two transfer targets and are racing to have a new man on board in time for their next home match against Eastbourneon July 20.Club bosses have a break in Elite League action because of the World Cup.Aces' supremo David Gordon said: "We cannot make the end-of-season play-offs so our big target now is to make progress in the cup."

(SPEEDWAY 2) EASTBOURNE have been forced to pull out of staging the prestigious Elite League Pairs Championship due to fixture congestion.The event, which was due to be staged on August 8, will now be switched to an alternative venue.British Speedway Chairman Peter Toogood said: "We are currently in discussions over where the meeting will now be staged and will announce details as soon as it is finalised."
