Great savings on Rockingham race day tickets

ENTERTAINING the children during the school holidays can often blow the family budget, but not when you choose a day out at Rockingham.

The Northamptonshire circuit offers families the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic day out at a price they can afford.

There’s some great saloon-car racing on the International Super Sports Car Circuit as well as wheel-to-wheel action from the Pickup Trucks on the Rockingham Oval at the BARC race meeting over the weekend of September 5/6.

The entertainment won’t be confined to the track and on race day there will be plenty for all the family to enjoy, including face painters, a temporary tattooist, driving the Rockingham simulators and music from Corby FM. Access to the paddock and grandstand seats are free.

Families can enjoy this feast of motor racing for as little as £10 per adult if they’ve been to see a race meeting in 2009 at Rockingham or any other MSA licensed UK circuit*. Just bring your old tickets along to receive £5 off the Sunday (race day) gate admission price.

But don’t worry if you haven’t got an old ticket, in addition to the generous child admission policy in which children aged 15 and under get in for free, Rockingham has also frozen its ticket prices for club race meetings.

You can save up to 20 per cent on adult admission prices by booking in advance online and download a full schedule of racing from rockingham.co.uk. Tickets cost £18 for the weekend, £12 for Sunday or £8 for Saturday. If you’re not online, the ticket hotline is 01536 500500.
