SPEEDWAY News and fixtures
(SPEEDWAY 1) EDINBURGH star Andrew Tully is likely to miss the rest of the season with a broken pelvis. Tully felt he had aggravated an old problem in a crash at Wolverhampton, and amazed doctors by being able to walk into hospital with the injury. He said: "The bike stopped and threw me off, and of course I landed on the hip again. Every injury seems to make me stronger, so here's hoping." (SPEEDWAY 2) BIRMINGHAM No.1 Tomasz Piszcz has made himself available for Sunday's re-arranged trip to Newport - despite a clashing fixture in his home country. The Brummies had hoped to avoid racing on this date but must travel to Wales due to fixture congestion. Boss Graham Drury said: "It speaks volumes for the bloke, he has been a revelation since he came to us and we're thrilled he's with us on Sunday."
