Leon Camier topped a fast and frantic warm up session at Brands Hatch this morning ahead of today's two races for the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship in association with Pirelli.
The Kawasaki World Superbike team kicked off the session with Broc Parkes on a charge after securing his debut podium yesterday in the opening race of the weekend, he topped the times but then Camier put in consecutive fast laps to move ahead of his rival.
Camier's lap was faster than his time set in yesterday's Swan Combi 50 - Roll for Pole qualifying session to give him the edge over Parkes who was able to keep countryman Karl Muggeridge in third on the HM Plant Honda. He promoted himself ahead of Tommy Hill on the Worx Crescent Suzuki, with James Ellison putting in his flying lap in the final minute.
Julien Da Costa remained in the top ten despite a crash in the final two minutes at Surtees, just behind fellow Kawasaki World Superbike rider Sheridan Morais.
