WORKINGTON star Andre Compton insists there's no pressure on him going intothe Premier League Riders' Championship this Sunday (5pm).Compton replaces Kevin Doolan at his former track Sheffield, where he won the title in 2004.Said Compton: "The pressure has been ridiculous on me in years gone by butit's a bit different this time. I'm going to enjoy it and see where that gets me."

SHEFFIELD are facing up to an injury crisis going into the Jack Young Shieldcompetition.The Owlerton side have now lost youngster Hugh Skidmore with a wrist injury alongside Richard Hall and Scott Smith.Co-boss David Hoggart said: "Hugh crashed in the opening race of our meetingat Newport. It's another blow for us and for the lad in particular, he's been a valuable addition to the team."
